Summary: The Technology Engagement Lead will oversee digital support at various visitor experience sites in Scotland, ensuring efficient operation of technology and providing excellent support to on-site teams. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude, with a focus on problem-solving rather than deep technical expertise. The position involves collaboration with external IT service providers and travel between sites. The working schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, totaling 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technology issues
- Provide hands-on support where required (eg reinstalling POS devices or iPads)
- Coordinate with third-party IT suppliers to resolve issues
- Maintain excellent communication with on-site staff and vendors
- Travel between sites as needed to support operations
