Summary: The Technology Consultant/Analyst role involves providing expertise in system administration with a focus on storage, backup, and operating systems. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience and includes responsibilities such as installations, configurations, and operational support. Candidates must have completed necessary security clearances and will work in a hybrid model, with three days on-site each week. The contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installations, configurations, migrations, and operational support
- Monitoring components of storage systems, including volumes, LUNs, disks, and logs
- Complete incident, change management, problem management, and capacity planning
- Plan and execute disaster recovery
- Backup management and health checks, including monitoring backup jobs and schedules
- Storage health checkup and performance monitoring of storage arrays
- Troubleshooting and controller mirroring configuration status
Key Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in system administration
- Expertise in Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch
- Experience with EMC Data Domain, Networker, ECS for backup
- Proficiency in VMware and Linux/Red Hat operating systems
- Knowledge of incident, change, and problem management
- Disaster recovery planning and execution skills
- Strong troubleshooting abilities

Job Description:
