Job description - the role
Purpose of the role: As Technology & AI Communications Specialist you will help drive engagement and understanding of our technology strategy, with a particular focus on AI transformation. This role combines storytelling, communications, and change management, helping colleagues across the business understand, adopt, and embrace new technologies and ways of working.
Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience: What you'll do:
- Create and deliver engaging communications that support Technology and AI transformation initiatives across the organisation.
- Gather information from multiple stakeholders and sources, transforming complex topics into clear, compelling, and accessible stories.
- Develop and manage content across a variety of channels and formats, including articles, videos, events, podcasts, and visual communications.
- Analyse employee feedback, survey results, and engagement data to shape effective communication strategies and activities.
- Support AI adoption by creating content that showcases practical use cases, business impact, colleague success stories, and growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with technology leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and impactful communications.
The skills you'll need:
Proven experience in internal communications, content creation, editorial planning, or communications management.
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technology and AI concepts for non-technical audiences.
Good understanding of AI, digital transformation, and the role technology plays in driving business performance and change.
Experience supporting change management, technology adoption, or transformation programmes within an organisation.
Excellent stakeholder management, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with confidence working across all levels of the business.
Self-motivated, creative, and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
