Summary: Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2 (Mobile), where you will support various client locations by assisting engineers with on-site technical tasks. This role requires expertise in field engineering and technical support, collaborating closely with the client's TRG Technical Team. The position is based in Birmingham and involves providing on-site technical support primarily at the Birmingham location and occasionally at other Midlands sites.

- SC Clearance and Full UK DL
- Provide on-site technical support at Client Birmingham location and occasionally at other Midlands sites.
- Assist existing engineers with hardware/software troubleshooting, installations, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with site contacts and client stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in IT support or field engineering.
- Experience working in secure environments.
- Ability to work independently and travel across multiple sites when required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Overview:As a Technician 2 (Mobile Role) with expertise in field engineering and technical support, you will collaborate with our client's TRG Technical Team. You will be responsible for supporting various Client locations by assisting existing engineers with on-site technical tasks.
Location: Minworth B35 6LJ
Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.54(PAYE) OR £18.87 per hour (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
Contract Length: 06 Jan-2026 to 31-Dec-2026
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 5:30 PM
