We’re expanding our team to support continued growth and exciting international projects - join us as our new Technical Author. Joloda Hydraroll designs and installs smart loading systems that help the world’s biggest brands move goods more efficiently. From Liverpool to Los Angeles, our engineering solutions are used across six continents - making manual loading faster, safer and smarter. We’re now looking for a Technical Author to make our documentation as exceptional as our technology. You could currently be a Design Engineer, Software Engineer, Project Engineer looking for a change.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Technical Author, you’ll produce clear, accurate and accessible technical documentation across our product range. This includes writing operation manuals, system documentation and compliance documents (including CE Marking), and updating existing materials to reflect product evolution. You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers and compliance experts to translate technical input into high-quality documents. You’ll take the lead on managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensure everything you produce aligns with brand standards, ISO9001/14001 requirements, and industry best practice. You’ll be critical in shaping how our global clients and partners engage with our equipment and services.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment ideally within a design, software or project capacity. Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Some experience in the use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation control, and presentations. Some experience in the use of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools is beneficial. Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
