- Experience supervising, mentoring, or providing guidance to colleagues.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and organise technical activities to meet competing demands.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Competent digital literacy, including use of technical, booking, or asset-management systems.
- Practical understanding of health and safety requirements in specialist technical environments.
- Experience using operational or asset-management systems.

About The Role
The Technical Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the delivery of specialist technical services within their faculty, ensuring that facilities, equipment and technical support enable safe, effective teaching, learning and creative practice.
What You'll Do
The role provides operational leadership for Technical Services at faculty level, acting as a first point of contact for technical matters and providing advice, guidance and practical support to staff and students. Working within established University policies and procedures, the postholder coordinates technicians, supports health and safety compliance in technical environments, and contributes to the effective use and upkeep of specialist facilities.
