Summary: The Technical Security Expert role involves designing and implementing security components across on-premise, Azure, and AWS environments. The position requires hands-on experience with various security technologies and a broad understanding of cloud security, SIEM/SOAR, and network security. The role is hybrid with an emphasis on service development and good practices in both technical and non-technical settings. The contract duration is 8 months with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigation, analysis, and exploitation of new and emerging technologies.
  • Solution design and implementation as part of the Project Lifecycle.
  • Service development life cycle and embedding good practice in both technical and non-technical settings.
  • Development of services specifically relating to Security Technologies (McAfee, Cisco, Citrix, and Microsoft).
  • Broad understanding of five or more specified security areas including Cloud Security, SIEM/SOAR, and Network Security.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in security component design and implementation.
  • Extensive experience with Cloud Security including MDE.
  • Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR (Sentinel).
  • Experience with cloud security monitoring and compliance (AWS, Azure, and Google).
  • Familiarity with IPS/WAF, Firewalls, Reverse Proxy, Forward Proxy, and End Point Security products.
  • Understanding of Network Security, Enterprise Architecture, Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Secure File Transfer, and Remote Access Security.

We are currently looking for a Technical Security Expert who has hands on experience in designing and implementing security component across on Premise, Azure, and AWS clouds.

Essential criteria

* Investigation, analysis, and exploitation of new and emerging technologies.
* Solution design and implementation as part of the Project Lifecycle.
* Service development life cycle and embedding good practice in both technical and non-technical settings.
* The role holder will have responsibility for the development of services specifically relating to Security Technologies (McAfee, Cisco, Citrix and Microsoft)
* Expected a broad understanding of five or more of the below is essential:

* Cloud Security including extensive experience with MDE
* SIEM/SOAR (Sentinel)
* Cloud security monitoring and compliance. (AWS, Azure, and Google)
