Summary: The Technical Scrum Master role involves collaborating with Product Owners and Development Leads to manage a server migration project for a Banking client. The position requires facilitating application migrations, implementing CI/CD processes, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The role is initially for three months with potential for extension. The successful candidate will leverage their Agile expertise to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Dev Lead to ensure a well planned pipeline of deliveries
- Ensure automated testing, CI/CD and DevSecOps processes are understood/implemented
- Facilitate efficient and effective applications migration from the current tech stack onto a modernised one
- Build close relationships with Front Office stakeholders globally
- Manage Scrums that enable app migrations, adapt software, integrate with vendor systems, and follow and expand the established SDLC processes
- Run Software Development Scrums consisting of Developers, Testers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders
- Keep stakeholders updated via direct comms, tailored reports and JIRA dashboards
Key Skills:
- Experience working in Banking/Financial Services
- Background working in IT previously (Development or Infrastructure ideal)
- Qualified Scrum Master
- Core Agile methodology expertise (Scrums, sprints etc)
- Understanding of Source Control & Release Management tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, GitHub etc)

Is this the Technical Scrum Master role for you? Crone Corkill are working with a Banking client as they look to hire a Technical Scrum Master on an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend beyond. If successful, you’ll be joining to help drive their ongoing server migration project that they’re currently around 1/3 of the way through to completion.
What will you do as a Technical Scrum Master?
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Dev Lead to ensure a well planned pipeline of deliveries
- Ensure automated testing, CI/CD and DevSecOps processes are understood/implemented

- Well versed and up to date with a wide variety of new technologies
- Manage Scums that enable app migrations, adapt software, integrate with vendor systems, and follow and expand the established SDLC processes
- Run Software Development Scrums consisting of Developers, Testers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders
- Keep stakeholders updated via direct comms, tailored reports and JIRA dashboards
