Summary: The Technical Project Manager role involves leading a critical migration of customer identity and authentication services to a modern CIAM platform for a UK digital financial services organization. The position requires proven experience in CIAM/IAM migration, particularly with Ping Identity or ForgeRock, and entails managing multiple teams to ensure minimal disruption during the transition. This is a high-visibility role with a focus on delivering significant transformation in a regulated environment. The position is hybrid and offers an outside IR35 engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end delivery of a full CIAM migration programme
- Consolidation of two legacy IAM stacks into one strategic platform
- Migration of authentication journeys, MFA, policies, and credentials
- Planning and executing phased cutovers with minimal customer impact
- Managing SI delivery, internal engineering, security, and compliance teams
- Clear, no-fluff reporting to senior stakeholders
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering CIAM / IAM migration programmes
- Deep familiarity with Ping Identity and/or ForgeRock environments
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML
- MFA and adaptive authentication
- Identity & credential migration strategies
- Experience within UK regulated financial services
- Confidence managing SI-led delivery models
