Summary: The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of technical releases and overseeing migration activities from current technologies to new solutions. This role requires coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure secure and timely outcomes while managing risks and dependencies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical releases and oversee migration activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient outcomes on time, within scope and budget.
  • Manage scope and schedule; drive delivery to agreed outcomes.
  • Plan and execute migrations from existing platforms to new technologies.
  • Ensure operational readiness including monitoring, support model, runbooks, SLAs, and handover to BAU.
  • Work across multiple technology platforms (e.g., cloud, on-prem, SaaS, data platforms, integration/middleware).
  • Utilize Waterfall and Agile methodologies in project delivery.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
  • Support migrations from legacy systems to cloud and other modern platforms.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and work effectively under pressure.

Job Profile - Technical Project Manager

A strong and self-motivated Technical Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of technical releases and oversee migration activities from the current ("as-is") technologies to new ("to-be") solutions. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient outcomes on time, within scope and budget, while managing risk and dependencies.

Essential Skills

  • Proven track record of delivering complex deliverables on schedule working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Manage scope and schedule; drive delivery to agreed outcomes
  • Hands-on experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering complex technology initiatives
  • Demonstrable track record supporting migrations from existing platforms to new technologies (planning through cutover and stabilisation)
  • Experience working across multiple technology platforms (e.g., cloud, on-prem, SaaS, data platforms, integration/middleware)
  • Delivery experience in regulated or large enterprise environments with strong governance and controls
  • Plan and execute migrations (e.g., legacy to cloud, data centre exit, platform upgrades, application modernisation)
  • Ensure operational readiness: monitoring, support model, runbooks, SLAs, and handover to BAU
  • Experience working on Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Strong leadership skills, confident, assertive, and able to work under pressure
