Summary: The Physical Security Technology Project Manager at Warner Bros. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the WBD Global Security team to deliver critical Physical Security projects and initiatives across the Studio
  • Oversee and manage full project lifecycles, within agreed delivery timelines and budget
  • Champion business change in alignment to project strategy, to enable high solution adoption
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the project roadmap and backlog for our portfolio
  • Contribute to business process & gap analysis exercises, in preparation for project formation
  • Work with the business teams to identify key capability needs and identify potential issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management and sustainment of outstanding business partner relationships
  • Assertively manage challenging conversations, maintaining transparency and trust with high-demanding business leaders
  • Maintain understanding of changing business needs and the subsequent impact on process or technology

Key Skills:

Who are the Studios & Experiences Technology team?

S&E Tech are part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Technology group and are responsible for the software and hardware solutions which run physical operations globally. Their area of focus encompasses four main pillars:

  • Tours & Retail
  • Studio Operations
  • Physical Security
  • Global Real Estate

This role sits within the Physical Security pillar, which supports the security systems such as Access Control, CCTV, and Threat Monitoring, throughout WBD locations worldwide.

The Role

In this role, the Physical Security Technology Project Manager will be dedicated to Leavesden Studios and responsible for the successful delivery of Security applications, from inception and planning through to design, build, delivery and ultimately transition to support. Other core responsibilities include leading and collaborating with project teams, 3rd party implementation partners, and technical teams on a diverse range of major capital projects and smaller initiatives to support the day-to-day running of the security applications of the Studio. To the Business stakeholders, your role will be that of a trusted partner; To the Tech teams, you will be a motivating project lead, providing structure and strong guidance throughout project lifecycles. The role requires a range of skills, involving technical understanding, business analysis concepts and workstream management. Vendor management plays a critical part of this role, coordinating with vendors and studio stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time and with minimal impact to business operations. This is a great opportunity to excel in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, encompassing a varied range of security applications across the Studio, Tour and Corporate Archives operations.

Prior Experience

Experience in security systems, including but not limited to access control, CCTV, videowall solutions, and PSIM systems is highly desirable, as is a willingness to learn new technologies and keep abreast of advancements in the security technology landscape. A solid understanding of complex application ecosystems with dependencies on system integrations is highly desirable. Prior experience in multi-geography implementations would be valuable, due to the global and diverse nature of our team and portfolio.
