Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the status of existing design strategies and deliverables for current projects
  • Supporting the Programme Lead and Project Managers
  • Undertaking high level assessment of technical solutions/options for new projects
  • Design team management
  • Generating User Requirement Specifications
  • Generating Scope of Works, including supporting the review and acceptance of supplier/subcontractor documentation
  • Estimate generation/compilation/review
  • Generating design management plans
  • Preparing design deliverables
  • HSSE support
  • Attending meetings

Key Skills:

  • Degree qualified ideally within an Engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Proven experience working across full design project lifecycle
  • Previous Project Engineering experience
  • Previous industry experience within Chemical, Bulk Chemical, Fine Chemical, Petrochemical or Nuclear
  • Ability in implementing engineering/design strategies and delivering against objectives
  • CDM 2015 & NEC3 knowledge
  • Experience of producing high quality technical documentation
  • Experience of managing staff/agency/contractor resources
