Summary: The Technical Project Manager role at PM Group involves assessing existing design strategies and deliverables for projects, supporting project leads, and managing design teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the status of existing design strategies and deliverables for current projects
- Supporting the Programme Lead and Project Managers
- Undertaking high level assessment of technical solutions/options for new projects
- Design team management
- Generating User Requirement Specifications
- Generating Scope of Works, including supporting the review and acceptance of supplier/subcontractor documentation
- Estimate generation/compilation/review
- Generating design management plans
- Preparing design deliverables
- HSSE support
- Attending meetings
Key Skills:
- Degree qualified ideally within an Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Proven experience working across full design project lifecycle
- Previous Project Engineering experience
- Previous industry experience within Chemical, Bulk Chemical, Fine Chemical, Petrochemical or Nuclear
- Ability in implementing engineering/design strategies and delivering against objectives
- CDM 2015 & NEC3 knowledge
- Experience of producing high quality technical documentation
- Experience of managing staff/agency/contractor resources
