Technical Project Manager

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a critical Siebel Upgrade Programme and a portfolio of associated infrastructure and technology initiatives.

The role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, coordinating application and infrastructure workstreams, managing stakeholders, vendors, risks, and ensuring successful execution of multiple concurrent projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architecture, infrastructure, security, application support, and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes while ensuring effective governance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Siebel Upgrade Programme Management
• Lead planning and delivery of the Siebel Upgrade Programme.
• Coordinate application, infrastructure, hosting, security, and testing activities.
• Manage program schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Ensure environment readiness including server builds and infrastructure provisioning.
• Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation across all workstreams.
• Manage release planning, deployment coordination, and go-live activities.

Technical Project Delivery

• Lead delivery of infrastructure and platform initiatives aligned to the technology roadmap.
• Coordinate CMDB implementation activities.
• Manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) projects and security-related enhancements.
• Oversee technical dependencies across application and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate steering committees and project governance forums.
• Provide regular project reporting on status, risks, issues, budget, and milestones.
• Manage communication with senior stakeholders and technology leadership.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery plans.

Transition & Knowledge Management

• Support transition and knowledge transfer activities.
• Work alongside existing project leadership during the onboarding period to ensure continuity.
• Capture key project knowledge, decisions, and operational requirements.
• Establish sustainable governance and delivery processes for ongoing project execution.

Essential

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in complex enterprise technology environments.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale technology transformation projects.
• Strong technical understanding of:
• Infrastructure platforms
• Server migrations and builds
• Application upgrades
• Enterprise systems integration
• Security and access management
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects.
• Strong risk, dependency, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent communication and executive reporting capabilities.

Desirable

• Experience supporting or managing Siebel-related projects.
• Experience delivering CMDB implementations.
• Knowledge of Service Management and ITIL practices.
• Experience with RBAC or Identity and Access Management initiatives.
• Financial services or regulated industry experience.
