Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a stalled cloud migration project for two key SaaS applications.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of complex data migration from a legacy on-premise environment to AWS Cloud.
- Validate vendor progress and remediate historical migration errors.
- Report to senior stakeholders and ensure successful project conclusion.
- Utilize project management tools such as Jira to track and drive delivery.
- Work alongside third-party vendors and hold them accountable.
- Consider infrastructure and security during cloud migration projects.
Key Skills:
- Experience in data migration and data validation, including source-to-target strategy.
- Understanding of AWS cloud environments and server structures.
- Technical project management skills with experience in delivery tracking.
- Experience working with third-party vendors.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and security considerations in cloud migrations.
- Bonus: Experience with Digital Asset Management platforms or similar systems.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Censhare, Picturemaxx, Keycloak, or Okta.

Technical Project Manager (Data Migration) 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35) £470/day London - Hybrid – Two days per week in central London
We are representing a well-known, prestigious brand in the media industry who are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join them for a crucial project on an initial 6-month contract. This role has been created to take ownership of, and help deliver, a stalled cloud migration project for two key SaaS applications. You will be brought in as an internal technical resource to drive the end-to-end delivery of a complex data migration from a legacy on-premise environment to AWS Cloud.
As Technical Project Manager you will validate vendor progress, remediate historical migration errors, and ensure the project is brought through to a successful conclusion. Up to this point, our client has relied solely on one of the SaaS vendors for the work thus far but progress is stalling and so they are looking to bring in an internal resource to help bring it back on track. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role reporting into two senior stakeholders across the business. It is a unique position where we are looking for strong skills in Project Management and Data Migration and can consider candidates from either background.
We are looking for:
- Experience in data migration and data validation, including source-to-target strategy and maintaining data integrity across high-volume migrations
- Understanding of AWS cloud environments, including an appreciation of server structures and architectural design
- Technical project management skills, with experience tracking and driving delivery through to closure using tools such as Jira
- Experience working alongside and holding third-party vendors to account
- An understanding of infrastructure and security considerations during cloud migration projects, including identity management integrations
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms or similar content management systems
- Familiarity with Censhare, Picturemaxx, Keycloak, or Okta
