Summary: The role of Technical Delivery Project Manager involves leading and managing the end-to-end delivery of complex Duck Creek implementation and transformation programs within the Property & Casualty insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Duck Creek Technologies and Agile delivery models, ensuring effective communication and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and management of cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Duck Creek implementation and integration projects.
- Own project planning, execution, delivery, and post-go-live support phases.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Duck Creek product teams, development teams, and third-party vendors.
- Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and risks, ensuring delivery meets business goals.
- Oversee configuration, development, and integration of Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Claims, Producer).
- Conduct regular sprint planning, retrospectives, and delivery progress reviews using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Manage cross-functional teams across geographies (onshore/offshore).
- Act as the key escalation point for delivery issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Facilitate effective communication between business, IT, and Duck Creek specialists.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in insurance tech environments.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in IT project delivery; 4+ years specifically in managing Duck Creek programs.
- Strong knowledge of Duck Creek Suite – especially Policy, Billing, and Claims.
- Experience with Duck Creek Author, Express, and API integrations.
- Experience managing complex technology programs in Property & Casualty insurance domain.
- Proven experience delivering projects in Agile/Scrum, Hybrid, or Waterfall environments.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), DevOps, and cloud deployment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Azure/AWS, API/Microservices, and data migration strategies is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
