Summary: The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in delivering technical projects within a high-performing team at a bank in the City of London. This hybrid position requires expertise in software development or IT infrastructure, along with strong project management and communication skills to ensure projects meet objectives and enhance customer satisfaction. The role involves managing the project lifecycle, addressing risks, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and quality. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high performance levels for service-related processes and implementing improvement activities.
- Taking ownership of critical risks and issues, coordinating resolution with stakeholders.
- Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into service delivery scope.
- Managing metrics reporting and analysis of business demand against capacity constraints.
- Managing the development and delivery of IT products utilizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Focusing on constant improvement of quality and team performance each sprint.
- Collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, and security teams to ensure compliance with policies.
- Providing communication and escalation to IT and business area management on critical issues.
- Fostering and maintaining good working relationships with business area representatives.

- Experience in capturing and challenging briefs for effective solution delivery.
- Experience in leading, energising, and mentoring project members.
- Experience in IT project delivery across all phases from analysis to handover.
