Technical Project Manager (AWS AgentCore & Bedrock)

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI initiatives on AWS.

This role combines client-facing consulting, technical leadership, governance, and programme delivery, with a strong focus on Amazon Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, and AWS AI transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI engagements from discovery through design, implementation, and adoption.
• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and AWS partners.
• Drive programme governance, risk management, executive reporting, and delivery success.
• Facilitate workshops to identify, prioritise, and define AI and automation use cases.
• Oversee the design and implementation of GenAI and agent-based solutions using Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore.
• Guide architecture decisions across model selection, enterprise integration, security, governance, and Responsible AI.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution shaping, estimations, and proposal development.
• Manage cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to ensure successful programme outcomes.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of programme management, consulting, or technology delivery experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex cloud, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, including: Foundation Models, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Knowledge Bases, Prompt Engineering, Guardrails & Responsible AI.
• Experience with AWS AgentCore and Agentic AI architectures, including: AI agents and orchestration frameworks, Tool integration patterns, Agent memory and observability, Secure enterprise deployments.
• Familiarity with AWS Launchpad and AWS governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging Director, CIO, and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience leading globally distributed delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering production-grade GenAI or Agentic AI solutions.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Strands, AutoGen, or similar.
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, AI Practitioner, or Professional level).
• Experience within regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or the Public Sector.
