Job description - the role
Purpose of the role: As Technical Programme Manager you will join a business and technology transformation programme that is reshaping how demand, inventory and supply planning are managed across different business areas. This role will play a critical part in delivering a large-scale APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) implementation, bringing together technical, integration and business teams to drive successful programme delivery within a highly complex and fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
- Lead delivery activities across a large-scale Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) transformation programme.
- Coordinate technical, integration, cyber security, governance and business teams to ensure programme alignment.
- Manage and maintain programme delivery plans, tracking progress, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Facilitate technical discussions, providing appropriate challenge and driving resolution of complex delivery issues.
- Support the implementation of a standardised planning process across multiple business units and technology environments.
- Engage with key stakeholders across internal teams, external partners and suppliers to drive successful outcomes.
The skills you'll need:
- Proven Programme or Senior Project Management experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong technical understanding, particularly around system implementations and data integrations.
- Experience working closely with technical, IT, cyber security and governance teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of PMO practices, governance frameworks, delivery controls and reporting.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams and driving teams towards delivery milestones.
