Summary: The Technical Programme Manager will oversee a critical Price & Promotions programme in a large-scale retail technology environment for a 3-month contract. This role focuses on the 'Stop the Errors' initiative, addressing master data inconsistencies that affect customer experience and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will ensure continuity of delivery and governance while coordinating multiple teams and delivery partners. This position is ideal for a hands-on TPM who can quickly stabilize the programme and drive outcomes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of the existing Price & Promotions programme, ensuring continuity of delivery during the transition period.
- Act as the primary delivery lead, maintaining pace and accountability across workstreams.
- Maintain and lead programme governance across internal data teams, FIT teams, and TCS delivery partners.
- Ensure clear delivery cadence, reporting, and decision-making forums are in place.
- Help shape, structure, and manage the emerging 'Stop the Errors' workstream.
- Drive clarity around scope, priorities, and ownership across technical and business teams.
- Coordinate efforts to address master data inconsistencies between core pricing systems, promotions platforms, and in-store execution systems.
- Work closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to align delivery outcomes.
- Manage third-party delivery partners (TCS), ensuring commitments are met and issues escalated appropriately.
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigations.
- Reinforce strong delivery fundamentals across teams, including planning, sequencing, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and change impact assessment.
- Ensure deliverables are ready for downstream testing, release, and operational handover.

- Proven experience as a Technical Programme Manager, Senior Delivery Lead, or equivalent.
- Strong background delivering complex, cross-functional technology programmes.
- Experience working within data-heavy environments, ideally involving pricing, promotions, or master data.
