Summary: The Technical Product Manager will lead the development of critical services for the Rides Platform and Partner Tooling, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance. This role involves defining product strategy, building tools for operational efficiency, and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders. The position is based in Manchester and requires a strong technical background in product management. The role is hybrid, requiring two days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for the Rides Platform & Partner Tooling.
  • Build first-class tools and services for internal teams and partners, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Define and monitor core platform metrics, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Prioritise technical initiatives and product improvements based on business goals.
  • Write functional specifications and ensure clear, actionable development plans.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, analysts, and researchers.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing dependencies and change.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies, leveraging them to enhance our platform.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a complex technical environment.
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering high-resiliency, high-availability platforms.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, data, and cloud services.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience in monitoring and measuring product success.
  • Experience working in agile teams, driving continuous efficiency improvements.
  • Strong experience in product road-mapping and stakeholder management.

Salary (Rate): £620
