How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Technical Operations Linux SME, you’ll use a proven track record to drive improvements across the Linux estate through knowledge of best practices. You will look to develop our controls and processes to enhance the customer experience. In conjunction with other teams and 3rd parties, you’ll plan and deliver changes and improvements through established ITIL processes whilst minimising disruption and maintaining service to our customers and colleagues.

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of Linux and Unix –based OSs, particularly RHEL Patching and security best-practice knowledge.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and in particular SNOW.
  • Previous experience in a banking environment would be beneficial.
  • Experience working in an Agile team / culture
  • Experience in Linux Patching tools, in particular Satellite.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and containerisation, in particular Openshift, Kubernetes and Ansible.
