Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead with strong Angular expertise to join our Leeds team. This role will involve leading development efforts, collaborating closely with UX/UI teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centred digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Angular development, proven leadership capabilities, and an ability to work effectively in design-led, agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of Angular-based applications.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and user-centred design teams to ensure intuitive, accessible, and responsive interfaces.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.

• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practice implementation.

• Ensure adherence to accessibility and usability standards, especially for public sector projects.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and team practices.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong Angular development experience, demonstrated through recent projects or leadership roles.

• Proven track record of working with user-centred design teams and collaborating closely with UX/UI professionals.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working in .gov or NHS environments.

• Familiarity with public sector accessibility standards and compliance requirements (eg, WCAG).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Developer role.

• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of modern Front End tools, frameworks, and best practices.
