Summary: The Technical Instructor for Unity Game Engine at IN4 Group will lead the delivery of a bootcamp aimed at developing early career technical hires into skilled professionals in various game development roles. This position requires a passion for teaching and a strong knowledge of Unity Game Development, with responsibilities including curriculum delivery, student mentorship, and administrative support. The role is contract-based for 12 weeks, requiring full-time availability during the bootcamp. The instructor will also contribute to curriculum design and resource creation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and supporting all aspects of the defined Unity Game Engine Bootcamp curriculum.
  • Demonstrating and supporting application development during sessions.
  • Ensuring student engagement and offering support in Skills City Industry projects.
  • Guiding and mentoring students towards achieving technical expertise and career opportunities.
  • Conducting technical mock interviews with interns.
  • Supporting the Skills City team in timetabling and monitoring student learning progress.
  • Administering LMS tasks such as scheduling sessions and managing attendance.
  • Evaluating and providing feedback on learners’ activities and submissions.
  • Working closely with the learning strategy team to ensure a consistent program experience.
  • Providing content and class feedback to drive improvements.
  • Being available for communication via MS Teams chat, Email, etc.
  • Supporting with other tasks as required.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience of Unity Game Engine from both Artist and Programmer perspectives.
  • Understanding of AR/VR and AI for game development is a bonus.
  • Curriculum design and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to deliver engaging teaching and learning sessions remotely.
  • Excellent stand-up delivery and facilitation skills.
  • A passion for learning and developing talent.
  • Strong communication, time management, teamwork, inquisitive, and creative skills.
