Summary: The Technical Designer – Revit role is a contract position based in Leicester, focusing on delivering immersive museum and visitor experience projects internationally. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cultural projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The contract is expected to last until February 2027, with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages in Revit
- Support technical design development across multiple project stages
- Develop detailed cabinetry and bespoke joinery solutions
- Collaborate with internal design and project teams internationally
- Maintain high technical standards and drawing accuracy
- Assist in resolving detailing and coordination challenges throughout delivery
Key Skills:
- Strong technical design background with advanced Revit proficiency
- Experience delivering fit-out projects

- Experience in retail or shop environments
- Experience in museum, exhibition, or visitor experience projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience focused on cabinetry/cabinet work detailing

Technical Designer – Revit (Contract) Leicester Contract until February 2027 £40 - £45ph / Outside IR35 Ltd We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer – Revit to join a leading international design studio on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of immersive museum and visitor experience projects across the US and Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cultural and experiential environments, contributing to technically detailed and creatively ambitious projects.
Project Timeline June 2026 – November 2026 Support role on a major museum project based in Chicago, USA. November 2026 – February 2027 Support role on an international maritime museum project in the Middle East.
The Role Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, you will be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality technical drawing packages in Revit, with a particular focus on fit-outs, bespoke cabinetry, and visitor experience environments. You will play a key role in supporting technical design development and ensuring drawing accuracy across complex international projects.
