Summary: The Technical Delivery Manager / Delivery Lead role involves overseeing major system replacement programs within the public sector, particularly in Central and Local Government and Law Enforcement. The position requires a blend of technical delivery management and consultancy experience, with a focus on stakeholder engagement across various government entities. The role is largely remote, with occasional site visits in the South East for workshops. Immediate availability is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage major system replacement programs, particularly in complex management systems.
- Consult with multiple clients across various areas within Government.
- Engage with a diverse range of Government stakeholders, including Central Government, Local Government, and Law Enforcement.
- Support business case writing and manage the pre-procurement through to delivery lifecycle of new systems (desirable).
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Technical Delivery Lead / Manager on major system replacement programs.
- Consultancy experience with the ability to work across multiple clients.
- Familiarity with Government stakeholders and environments.
- Desirable experience in business case writing and system delivery lifecycle.
- Ability to pass a BPSS check.

iO Associates are working with a well-regarded Public Sector consultancy who are running at full capacity and need additional hands on board to support their projects across various areas of Government.
For this role, they are looking for Technical Delivery Leads who have experience in the following areas:
- Experience working as the Technical Delivery Lead / Manager on major system replacement type programmes, especially if this is within a major systems setting such as Complex Management Systems.
- Consultancy experience (ability to work easily work across multiple clients in multiple areas within Government).
- Experience working with a wide variety of Government stakeholders such as within Central Government, Local Government and Law Enforcement.
- (Desirable) experience within Business Case writing/ support and the pre-procurement through to delivery lifecycle of new systems.
Other notes:
- NPPV3 or SC Clearance is desirable but not necessary - you must be able to pass a BPSS check.
- You will be working predominantly remotely with a few site visits to the various clients (all who reside in and around London) on an as-needed basis.
