Summary: The Technical Smart Ticketing Delivery Lead will support a growing program focused on delivering Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) rail capabilities within a complex, multi-system environment. This role requires a Senior Technical Delivery Lead who can navigate a large stakeholder landscape and manage integrated platforms from design through to launch. The position is based in the North West, requiring two days in the office each week. The contract is for 12 months and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of PAYG rail capability across multiple systems.
- Drive delivery from design through build, testing, pilot, and launch.
- Coordinate delivery across various systems and teams.
- Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee programme dependency management and system integration.
- Implement PAYG EMV solutions and integrate fares and ticketing systems.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in transport ticketing, particularly PAYG and integrated payment solutions.
- Experience in product and delivery management.
- Ability to manage back-office and validator delivery.
- Proficient in system integration, testing, and pilot delivery.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills.

You'll need strong transport ticketing experience, particularly around PAYG and integrated payments solutions, with the ability to coordinate delivery across multiple systems and teams.
