Summary: The Technical Data Analyst at Great Lakes Insurance SE will support the business by gathering and reviewing regulatory and financial data from insurance intermediaries. This role involves collaborating with internal regulatory teams to analyze and extract data, ensuring high data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, reporting to the Agency Management Platform Manager. The analyst will also contribute to data management processes and support Environmental Social Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and develop data extraction for ESG project teams.
• Liaise with Great Lakes ESG project team and MR group ESG colleagues.
• Learn and understand the DFEnS system to meet data requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Team members on DFEnS enhancements.
• Identify and define systems and process alternatives for business needs.
• Utilize reporting tools to write, maintain, and support reports/queries.
• Maintain data integrity by running queries and analyzing data.
• Develop standardized reports for internal customers.
• Support best practices for system and process change management.
• Contribute to the improvement of GL data management processes and systems.

Key Skills:

• Advanced SQL script writing.
• Advanced PowerBI development skills.
• Experience with large data volumes (4M+ rows ETL).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience with business process design and change management.
• Customer service support experience.
• Strong understanding of IT business architecture design.
