technical cybersecurity lead

The Role

We are seeking a senior Technical Cybersecurity Lead to protect critical enterprise domains (Risk, Finance, Treasury). You will act as the bridge between deep technical security architecture and senior business stakeholders, translating complex cyber risks into clear business impacts.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk & Governance: Own the cyber risk profile, manage risk registers, and lead control assessments, audit activities, and remediation plans.
• Security-by-Design: Embed proportionate security controls into solution designs and change delivery to ensure control-by-default outcomes.
• Vendor & SaaS Security: Oversee third-party cyber risks, driving mitigations for data protection, access, and resilience during vendor onboarding and renewals.
• Executive Reporting: Translate technical vulnerabilities into business/financial impacts for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Incident Leadership: Provide risk-based direction and communication during major security events.

Requirements

• Experience: Significant cybersecurity background within highly regulated environments (e.g., Financial Services).
• Technical Skills: Strong foundation in Cloud/SaaS risk, Identity & Access Management (IAM), threat/vulnerability management, and Application Security.
• GRC Expertise: Deep capability in cyber risk articulation, control mapping, and issue management.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the credibility to challenge, influence, and advise senior stakeholders.
• Desirable: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent certifications; experience with operational resilience in finance.
