Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements to design efficient processes.
- Support the delivery of strategic projects enhancing scalability and client experience.
- Translate ambiguous business needs into actionable requirements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across technical and business domains.
- Utilize agile methodologies and tools for project management.
- Work with data using Excel, SQL, and visualization tools for analysis.
- Understand APIs, integrations, and data flows to inform project decisions.

Our Fintech/Challenger Banking client seeks a dynamic and technically astute Technical Business Analyst with +7 years solid experience working in a similar setting where you have been heavily involved in converting Requirements into User Stories. You must be involved in moving from Epic to Story to Task understand the difference
Role is as follows:
The Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions across our clients growing banking platform. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll gather and analyse requirements, design smart processes and support the delivery of strategic projects that enhance efficiency, scalability, and client experience. This role exists to ensure that change is smart, scalable, and evidence-based, helping us build a bank that's agile, data-driven and fit for the future.
- A skilled business analyst with proven experience in digital, operational, or financial/fintech services environments.
- Analytical and structured, able to translate ambiguity into actionable requirements.
- Experienced in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management across technical and business domains.
- Confident working with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Notion.
- Comfortable working with data using Excel, SQL, or visualisation tools (eg Power BI, Tableau) to inform analysis and recommendations.
- Technically fluent, with a good understanding of APIs, integrations and data flows.
- Other tech knowledge will be a combination of Agile/Kanban, API's, Reporting (Power BI OR Tableau). Any BDD Test, CRM, Content Management & Mobile (iOS or Android) skills a bonus but not essential.
- Curious and forward-thinking, with a genuine interest in how AI and automation can transform banking operations and client experience.
Again, the ideal Technical Business Analyst will have as many of the technical working experience as follows STRONG EXPERIENCE IN Agile/Kanban, API's, Reporting (Power BI OR Tableau). Any BDD Test, CRM, Content Management & Mobile (iOS or Android) skills a bonus but not essential. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will come from a Fintech/Challenger Banking background but not essential. Role is 50% hands on & 50% hands off.
STRONG COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS A MUST. 1 DAY ONSITE IN LONDON AND 4 DAYS REMOTE FOR THIS 5-6 MONTH OUTSIDE IR35 LTD CO BA ROLE.
