Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and document business and technical requirements

- Translate service needs into clear specifications and acceptance criteria
- Support delivery across networks, security, and cloud transformation projects
- Work closely with technical teams (networks, cyber, cloud, infrastructure, architecture) and report directly to the Programme Manager
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale IT change programmes
- Comfortable working in technical environments (networks, security, cloud, infrastructure)
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience defining service specifications and acceptance criteria
- Ideally experience within Local Government or other large, complex organisations

We are recruiting on behalf of a London-based Local Government organisation that is undertaking a major IT transformation programme. They are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join on a fixed-term basis.
The Role
You will play a key part in a large-scale IT transformation programme covering:
- Network infrastructure projects
- Implementation of Zero Trust security architecture
- Migration to a dedicated Azure tenancy
Your role will be to act as the bridge between business service areas and technical teams, ensuring requirements are fully captured and translated into service specifications and acceptance criteria. You will facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and support delivery across multiple technical workstreams.
