Summary: The Technical Business Analyst role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions that facilitate digital transformation initiatives. The position requires bridging business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role is based in Leeds/Bradford and is a temporary contract inside IR35. The successful candidate will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team under the direction of a client delivery manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Engineers and QA teams throughout the delivery life cycle.
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support solution design by documenting system interactions, integrations and data flows.
  • Produce process maps, business workflows and data mapping documentation.
  • Ensure requirements remain traceable from design through testing and implementation.
  • Support Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist with change impact assessments and release planning.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within Digital Engineering or Software Delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working alongside Software Engineers, Solution Architects and Technical Delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of APIs, system integrations and cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong experience with Jira, Confluence and requirements management tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.

Technical Business Analyst - Circa £460 per day inside ir35 - 6 months - 2 days per week in Leeds/Bradford

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Technical Business Analyst to work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Operations teams and Project Managers to define, analyse and deliver technology solutions that support customer and internal digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.
