Summary: The Technical Business Analyst role focuses on supporting projects within the Public Sector, specifically in Central Government, Local Government, and Law Enforcement. The position requires expertise in technical requirements elicitation and experience with major system replacement programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Technical as-is and to-be requirements elicitation.
- Acting as the Business Analyst on major system replacement programs, particularly in ERP or Complex Management Systems.
- Engaging with a variety of Government stakeholders across Central Government, Local Government, and Law Enforcement.
- Supporting Business Case writing and the pre-procurement to delivery lifecycle of new systems.
Key Skills:
- Experience in technical requirements elicitation.
- Background in major system replacement programs.
- Familiarity with Government stakeholder engagement.
- Desirable experience in Business Case writing and system delivery lifecycle.
- Ability to pass a BPSS check.

iO Associates are working with a well-regarded Public Sector consultancy who are running at full capacity and need additional hands on board to support their projects across various areas of Government.
For this role, they are looking for Technical Business Analysts who have experience in the following areas:
- Technical as-is, to-be requirements elicitation
- Experience working as the Business Analyst on major system replacement type programmes, especially if this is within a major systems setting such as ERP or Complex Management Systems.
- Experience working with a wide variety of Government stakeholders such as within Central Government, Local Government and Law Enforcement.
- (Desirable) experience within Business Case writing / support and the pre-procurement through to delivery lifecycle of new systems.
Other notes: NPPV3 or SC Clearance is desirable but not necessary - you must be able to pass a BPSS check.
You will be working predominantly remotely with a few site visits to the various clients (all who reside in and around London) on an as-needed basis.
