Summary: The Technical Business Analyst role focuses on leveraging strong Data and ETL skills, along with API tooling and Integration knowledge, to support a well-known firm. The position requires experience in creating lightweight User Interfaces using low-code tools and providing reporting to stakeholders. The role is hybrid, based in the South of London, and is expected to last for 6 months. Candidates should have a flexible approach to hybrid working and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Technical Business Analyst / Business Data Analyst within a large, complex regulated organization.
- Utilize strong Data and ETL skills to support data management processes.
- Work with API and Integration tooling, such as Postman API.
- Create lightweight User Interfaces using low-code tools like Microsoft Power Apps.
- Provide Reporting and Reconciliation to key stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders effectively, both internal and external.
- Attend and lead workshops as required in a hybrid working environment.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Business Data Analyst.
- Strong Data and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills.
- Experience with API and Integration tooling.
- Ability to create lightweight User Interfaces using low-code tools.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and/or Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in Insurance / Financial Services / heavily regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of various Microsoft products and tools.
- Immediate availability.

My client is an instantly recognisable firm who urgently require a Technical Business Analyst with strong Data and ETL skills, and working knowledge of API tooling and Integration, with demonstrable experience of creating lightweight User Interface (UI) using low-code tools and also providing reporting to key stakeholders (internal and external).
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Business Data Analyst within a large, complex regulated organisation
- Strong Data and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) skills
- Previous experience of API and Integration tooling (ie Postman API)
- Ability to create a lightweight User Interface, preferably using low-code tools (ie Microsoft Power Apps)
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira and / or Confluence
- Capability to provide Reporting and Reconciliation
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills (internal and external)
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working (attending / leading workshops as and when required)
