Summary: The Technical Business Analyst will join the Digital Engineering Team on a 6-month contract, focusing on digital transformation initiatives. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions, utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like Jira. The position requires a strong understanding of system integrations and cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS. The working arrangement is hybrid, requiring presence in Leeds/Bradford two days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Engineers and QA teams throughout the delivery life cycle.
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support solution design by documenting system interactions, integrations and data flows.
- Produce process maps, business workflows and data mapping documentation.
- Ensure requirements remain traceable from design through testing and implementation.
- Support Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within Digital Engineering or Software Delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
