Technical BA, (SQL, OAS/RAML)

Summary: The role of Technical BA involves leveraging extensive experience in information technologies and systems analysis to design and implement new systems and frameworks tailored to organizational needs. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical specifications into non-technical requirements while collaborating with various teams. The candidate will also conduct training sessions and troubleshoot technical issues to enhance system efficiency. This is a hybrid role based in Northampton, requiring 2-3 days of on-site work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design new systems and frameworks to meet organizational needs.
• Create manuals for new systems and frameworks.
• Run training sessions and workshops on updated systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT teams.
• Translate technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements.
• Enhance computer and software systems for the company.
• Review and assess the efficiency of current systems.
• Improve software designs based on user demand.
• Create analysis reports to support management decisions on system upgrades.
• Assist IT team in implementing approved new systems.
• Ensure new systems operate efficiently through analysis and troubleshooting.
• Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, and system performance.

Key Skills:

• 7 to 8 years of experience in information technologies and systems analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of OAS/RAML.
• Understanding of APIs.
• Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and other design tools.
• Strong communication skills.
