Summary: The Technical Architect for Mobile Architecture Review will lead a comprehensive evaluation of the current mobile architecture, focusing on both native and cross-platform solutions. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders to assess alignment with enterprise architecture principles and identify areas for improvement. The architect will produce detailed reports and recommendations to guide future mobile development strategies. The position is offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a structured review of the current mobile architecture, including native and cross-platform solutions.
- Assess alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and user experience goals.
- Engage with engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to gather insights and pain points.
- Evaluate mobile frameworks, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps maturity.
- Identify technical debt, scalability issues, and opportunities for innovation.
- Produce a comprehensive output artefact that includes current state analysis, gap assessment, future-state reference architecture, technology recommendations, and migration or transformation roadmap.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and architecture governance forums.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in mobile architecture across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Strong understanding of mobile architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with mobile DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing strategies.
