Summary: The Technical Architect role requires expertise in support, implementation, and solution design for large public cloud environments, particularly Azure. Candidates should have a strong background in core technologies and MuleSoft API management, along with experience in IT security and risk within regulated sectors. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, implementation, and solution design for large public cloud implementations, preferably Azure.
- Exposure to core technologies including Windows, Linux, Web, Middleware, Database, Security Gateways, and LAN/WAN Networking.
- Design secure, high-performing, and highly available technology solutions with requirements traceability.
- Contribute to IT security and risk management as part of an architecture role.
- Work in highly regulated environments, such as financial services.
- Communicate effectively with various audiences to influence and pitch ideas appropriately.
- Utilize knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment processes, methods, and tools.
- Conduct contractual due diligence as needed.
Key Skills:

Your Skills Support, Implementation and Solution Design exposure to large Public Cloud implementations (Preferably Azure) is essential. Support, Implementation and Solution Design exposure to core Technologies (Windows, Linux, Web, Middleware, Database, Security Gateways, LAN/WAN Networking) and specifically MuleSoft API management is essential. Experience of designing (including requirements traceability) secure, high performing, highly available Technology Solutions is essential. IT Security and Risk experience as part of an Architecture role is essential. Experience of working in highly regulated environment (eg Financial Services) is an advantage. Degree or HND in Information Technology are desirable but not essential - Equivalent experience considered. Relevant Technical and Business Qualifications (eg. TOGAF, ITIL) are desirable, but not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to assess the audience and pitch / influence appropriately. Knowledge and experience of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies is essential. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment processes / methods / tools is desirable. Experience of Contractual Due Diligence is desirable.
