Summary: The role of Technical Architect involves designing and assuring secure, mission-critical infrastructure within a high-security government environment. The position requires leading the production of High-Level and Low-Level Designs while ensuring compliance with security frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern data center networking and various security technologies, along with active eDV clearance. This high-impact role focuses on shaping secure cloud and infrastructure architecture at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production of High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs) for secure, multi-tenant platforms.
- Ensure alignment to Secure by Design principles and frameworks including NCSC CAF and NIST 800-53.
- Present at TDA and act as the infrastructure SME.
- Ensure all solutions are hardened to CIS/STIG standards.
Key Skills:
- Experience with modern data centre networking (Clos-fabric, BGP, ECMP, DCI, EVPN/VXLAN).
- Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and secure cross-domain architectures.
- Proficiency in VMware private cloud, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VxRail/vSAN and NSX-T.
- Experience in secure multi-tier environments (DMZs, segmentation, high-grade crypto).
- Linux & Windows Server administration (AD, PKI, SQL).
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
- Desirable skills include Kubernetes, Vault, Splunk, Panorama, Avi, SRM, Dell Powerscale, NVIDIA GPU, VDI (Omnissa Horizon).

We are seeking an experienced eDV Cleared Technical Architect to design and assure secure, mission-critical infrastructure within a high-security government environment.
The Role
You will lead the production of High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs) for secure, multi-tenant platforms, ensuring alignment to Secure by Design principles and frameworks including the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) CAF and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST 800-53). You'll present at TDA, act as the infrastructure SME, and ensure all solutions are hardened to CIS/STIG standards.
