Summary: The role of Technical Architect involves designing and governing secure, scalable architectures focused on security domains such as Physical Security and Threat Intelligence. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own end-to-end technical architectures for security and risk management platforms
- Translate business and security requirements into robust, scalable technical designs
- Lead architecture decisions across physical security systems, threat intelligence platforms, and incident/crisis management solutions
- Partner with security, operations, and executive stakeholders to align technology with risk strategy
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and resilience standards
- Provide technical leadership, design governance, and architectural assurance
- Evaluate vendors, tools, and emerging technologies in the security and risk ecosystem
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical or Solution Architect in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience in Physical Security Systems, Threat Intelligence platforms, Insider Threat detection, and Crisis management systems
- Strong understanding of secure architecture patterns, system integrations, and data flows
- Experience working with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, and enterprise software platforms
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Background working with security, risk, or resilience teams
- Experience in regulated or high-risk environments
- Architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF, SABSA) or cloud certifications
