Summary: The Technical Architect role involves developing and defining Target State Architecture (TSA) that aligns with long-term business and technology strategies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure architectural direction meets business priorities and provides technical leadership in large projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and define Target State Architecture (TSA) that aligns with long-term business and technology strategy.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide data strategies, encompassing data modeling, integration, governance, and analytics readiness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Data, Security) to align architectural direction with business priorities.
- Lead architectural assessments and define principles, patterns, and roadmaps for scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in large, cross-functional projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Conduct gap analysis between current and target states, and define transition roadmaps and interim architectures.
- Mentor engineering teams and support development with architecture guardrails and design reviews.
- Ensure alignment of technology solutions with security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that support enterprise innovation.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership roles.
- Deep experience in designing Target State Architectures across domains (applications, data, integration, cloud).
- Proven track record of building and executing data strategies at scale, including data lakes, warehousing, or modern data platforms.
- Expertise in architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture principles.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL pipelines, APIs, microservices, and integration architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with tools like ArchiMate, Sparx EA, or similar (preferred).
- Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) (preferred).
- Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) (preferred).
