**Technical Architect** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Dublin/Hybrid (3 days per week on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Day rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Profile

Our client, a leading investment banking firm, is seeking a talented Technical Architect to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with the lead engineer and product owner to define and deliver Reference Data Services to the Prime Brokerage Margin and Risk Technology platform.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the lead engineer and product owner to define and deliver Reference Data Services to the Prime Brokerage Margin and Risk Technology platform.


• Work in a dynamic team environment that spans India, Ireland, Canada, and the US.


• Redefine and refactor existing offerings, as well as strategic re-engineering to deliver best-in-class services and APIs for various business use cases.


• Utilise a variety of technologies including Java, Python, and SQL Server.


• Demonstrate a strong background in SQL Server, a typed language such as Java or C#, and a proven track record in delivering stable and reliable integration points.


• Provide leadership to the Application Development Team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.


• Extensive experience as a Technical Architect in the investment banking industry.


• Strong background in SQL Server and a typed language such as Java or C#.


• Proven track record in delivering stable and reliable integration points.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.
