Summary: Tecknuovo is seeking an actively SC Cleared Tech Lead/Solutions Architect to support a government-sector data modernization program focused on establishing an AWS-native Data Landing Zone and leading the migration of legacy data. The role involves providing technical leadership, architectural direction, and ensuring high-quality engineering practices while embedding product-led delivery methods. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud-native architectures and modern DevOps practices. This position requires strong communication skills to engage with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical architecture for the government-sector AWS Data Landing Zone and the related prototype migration.
- Define scalable, repeatable architectural patterns for ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver end-to-end cloud-native data pipelines replacing Legacy systems (eg, OpenRoad/Actian/Ingres).
- Build and assure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring production-ready, high-quality delivery.
- Embed appropriate governance and security standards, compliant with government technical frameworks.
- Engage product, engineering, and stakeholder groups to ensure delivery aligns with programme objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and knowledge transfer to client teams, ensuring long-term independence.
- Support operationalisation, deployment assurance, and preparation for scaling the platform across additional services.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, ideally using AWS.
- Strong background leading technical delivery across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience architecting and delivering data ingestion, storage, and transformation pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.
- Ability to define, design, and assure technical governance, security, and delivery standards.

Contract Details:
- Travel: Twice per month to Tecknuovo offices (Central London)
- Start Date: 23 March 2026
- End Date: 6-month contract (until end of September 2026)
- Clearance: Active SC clearance required
- Rate: £600 per day (Outside IR35)
