Summary: The Tech Lead for Informatica Customer 360 (MDM) will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of master data management solutions within an established organization. This role requires leading the end-to-end implementation process while ensuring data quality and governance across complex customer data ecosystems. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to establish data standards and strategies. The position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days on-site in Cardiff per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Informatica Customer 360 (MDM), covering data modelling, integration, and stewardship workflows.
  • Architect and optimise customer data flows across multiple platforms to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define mastering rules, match/merge strategies, and data quality standards.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership during development, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
  • Drive performance tuning, scalability, and optimisation efforts for high-volume customer data environments.
  • Maintain detailed solution documentation, including data dictionaries and integration specifications.
  • Mentor and support development and analysis teams engaged in MDM initiatives.
  • Apply deep knowledge of MDM best practices, customer hierarchy management, and Informatica tools such as IDQ, EDC, and Axon.
