Summary: The Tech Lead for Informatica Customer 360 (MDM) will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-level master data management solutions. This role requires a strong focus on data quality, governance, and integration within complex customer data ecosystems. The position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in Cardiff. The contract is for 6 months, starting ASAP, with a day rate of up to £550, classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Informatica Customer 360 (MDM), covering data modelling, integration, and stewardship workflows.
- Architect and optimise customer data flows across multiple platforms to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define mastering rules, match/merge strategies, and data quality standards.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership during development, testing, and deployment phases, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
- Drive performance tuning, scalability, and optimisation efforts for high-volume customer data environments.
- Maintain detailed solution documentation, including data dictionaries and integration specifications.
- Mentor and support development and analysis teams engaged in MDM initiatives.
- Apply deep knowledge of MDM best practices, customer hierarchy management, and Informatica tools such as IDQ, EDC, and Axon.
