Key Responsibilities:

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Burnley branch of our Lancashire Service. You will lead, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring interventions are trauma informed, recovery focused and aligned with national guidance and local strategies. You will maintain strong partnership working relationships and promote continuity of care and safeguarding. The Team Leader will be accountable for performance management, quality assurance, safeguarding compliance, and the achievement of key performance indicators. They will support staff development through regular supervision, case oversight, and reflective practice. This role requires strong leadership skills, an in-depth knowledge of substance misuse and the ability to risk manage effectively whilst driving service improvement and positive outcomes for individuals and communities.

Where Burnley Hours 37.5 per week Salary £35,220.59 - £37,184.90* Contract Type Fixed Term until 31st of March 2027 Please note Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the role Lead, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring interventions are trauma informed, recovery focused and aligned with national guidance and local strategies. Maintain strong partnership working relationships and promote continuity of care and safeguarding. Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles. Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members. Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk. Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users. Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback.

About you Experience of working with Adults experiencing difficulties around Substance misuse. Excellent knowledge of drugs and alcohol and their effects. Line management experience including the delivery of reflective practice. The ability to lead, empower and motivate a team. Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices and experience of embedding these operationally. Knowledge of a range of psychosocial and evidence-based interventions around substance misuse. Ability to ensure all record keeping, outcome monitoring and data collection is maintained effectively. Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing. Respond flexibly to the demands of the post. The ability to keep calm under pressure.
