Teaching Assistant (Unqualified & Trainee's Accepted)
Summary: This role involves delivering Computing lessons for 10 hours per week in various schools across the London SW region, with a focus on supporting young people in developing their IT skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Computing lessons in schools across the London SW region.
- Work 10 hours per week, primarily from Monday to Friday, with specific core hours.

Candidates must be based in East / North East London* The Core Hours Are: Monday: 15:00pm-17:00pm Tuesday: 15:00pm-17:00pm Wednesday: 15:00pm-17:00pm Thursday: 15:00pm-17:00pm Friday: 15:00pm-17:00pm Please note we would consider hiring for part of these hours between two candidates. If you only have availability for some of these sessions then please feel free to apply. This role would suit a Teacher, Trainee Teacher, Teaching Assistant or student looking to work extra hours in the sector or gain valuable experience. There are excellent progression opportunities for the succesful candidate. The work is available to start from September onwards and full training will be given to the successful applicant to enable them to deliver our workshops. You do not need extensive prior knowledge in this area.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- A positive attitude to helping young people succeed through teamwork, confidence-building and exploration.
- A sound general knowledge of IT (Training on each workshops is given to each employee)
- A teaching qualification, childcare qualification, teaching assisting qualification or be interested in / working towards.
- An excellent communicator who is well organised and punctual.
- The ability to drive with a car.
All candidates will need a DBS qualification to work within this job role. This can be ascertained on behalf of the successful candidate. Candidates would need to be able to drive to fulfill this role.
