Tax Programme Manager – Pharma - £750 (Outside IR35) – Luton

Summary: The Tax Programme Manager will oversee the management of tax workstreams for a global pharmaceutical client, ensuring timely delivery aligned with programme expectations. This role involves defining project plans, managing resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires strong project management experience in a tax or finance transformation context, particularly with technology-enabled solutions. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Luton office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver tax workstreams in line with stakeholder and programme expectations.
• Define and develop project plans and timelines.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including risk assessments, testing, quality assurance, and deployment.
• Partner with deployment leads to manage deployment activities and their impact on group functions.
• Manage project resources and allocation.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective planning and delivery.

Key Skills:

• Strong project/programme management experience within a tax/finance transformation environment.
• Experience with technology-enabled finance transformation, preferably implementing tax engines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working within an enterprise environment with fast-paced deliverables.
• Desirable: Experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.
