The Role
Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions.
It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.
What you'll do
- Prepare U.S. federal, state and local tax estimates, extensions, returns and supporting workpapers for multiple legal entities.
- Produce tax accounting calculations and documentation in accordance with ASC 740.
- Gather, analyse and validate data from internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct tax research and support responses to tax authority queries and deficiency notices.
- Assist the Tax Manager with ad hoc activities and wider U.S. Corporate Tax requirements.
- Follow and implement standard processes while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
What you bring
- Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA or CA accountant.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with international colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
- Self-motivated team player who can prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
