Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end performance management cycle
  • Design and maintain appraisal calendars, workflows, ratings guidelines
  • Facilitate goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews
  • Coordinate calibration and talent review sessions
  • Develop and sustain competency frameworks
  • Define role-based competencies and proficiency levels
  • Map competencies to career paths and skills matrices
  • Manage framework governance and version control
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis and translate results into plans
  • Analyse competency and performance gaps
  • Prioritise learning interventions by business impact
  • Collaborate and design blended learning solutions
  • Advise and coach managers
  • Provide training on giving feedback, setting SMART goals, and fair evaluations
  • Offer on-demand expertise during appraisal and calibration phases
  • Support HR, Talent Acquisition, Leaders, Quality teams
  • Align processes with parent-company practice
  • Ensure system configurations support reporting and audit trail requirements
  • Monitor and report on talent metrics
  • Track cycle completion, rating distributions, competency coverage
  • Surface insights for continuous improvement

Our client is a market leading, agile and high growth, global firm within the automotive sector. They now seek a Talent Management Advisor is a key role requiring someone who thrives in a fast paced, scale-up environment, managing multiple priorities to tight deadlines and has a genuine passion for working as part of an ambitious and commercially focused HR team. As their Talent Management Advisor, you will be supporting business leaders and HR, to drive performance management, competency frameworks, and learning strategies. This role ensures a robust cycle from goal setting through calibration aligned to corporate standards and values.

Role: Talent Management Advisor

Location: Solihull (on site)

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

Contract : 6 months contract
