Summary: We are looking for a Talent Management Lead to spearhead the design and execution of talent initiatives within a global organization. This role emphasizes succession planning, leadership development, and enhancing internal mobility to support business growth. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to align talent strategies with organizational goals. The position is based in Pangbourne, UK, and is a full-time PAYE contract for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver talent strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce priorities
- Lead succession planning, development planning, and talent risk mitigation activities
- Support placement decisions for critical and high-value roles
- Develop diverse talent pipelines and leadership readiness plans
- Facilitate talent reviews and drive evidence-based talent discussions
- Coach and advise HR and People & Culture teams on talent frameworks and best practices
- Use talent data, workforce analytics, and insights to support decision-making and measure programme effectiveness
- Partner with learning, business, and HR stakeholders to deliver integrated talent solutions
- Ensure high-quality execution of annual and ad-hoc talent management activities
- Manage relationships with external talent and learning providers where required
Key Skills:
- Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years' experience within talent management, leadership development, learning, or HR functions
- Proven experience designing and implementing global talent management programmes
- Strong succession planning and leadership development expertise
- Excellent stakeholder management experience, including partnering with senior leaders and executives
- Experience using talent analytics and workforce insights to influence strategic decisions
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and change management capabilities
- Experience managing external vendors and talent development providers
- Strong project management, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance business priorities and people outcomes
